The subject was transported to the Dauphin County Judicial Center and is awaiting preliminary arraignment. At approximately 11:15 AM, the resident exited the home voluntarily and was taken into custody without incident. There were no injuries reported during this incident. Officers made several attempts to speak with the subject who was initially unresponsive and uncooperative. Officers eventually made verbal contact with the sole occupant of the residence, however, the subject refused to come out of the residence. Additional officers responded and maintained a perimeter on the home. Upon arrival, the officer approached the front door and attempted to contact the resident, when the officer heard what sounded like a single gunshot from inside the home. On January 3, 2023, at approximately 9:39 AM, the Lower Paxton Township Bureau of Police were dispatched to 2407 Kensington Way after a resident called 911 and asked for an officer to respond the address to take a report about an online threat. ![]()
